The Big Dog Pyro team met through industry projects several years ago. Our friendships formed between late hours, a mutual love of pyro, and a big goal of one day having our own business. When clients work with us, they’re not just getting the best and biggest pyro, but a squad of dedicated, playful, damn-creative people who work hard to make you happy.

At Big Dog Pyro, we have pyrotechnic and special effects experience in film, television, commercials, stunts, live action stage, reality TV, video, corporate events, and more.  We work with the best and most reputable pyrotechnic and special effect suppliers to provide you with everything you need—whether it’s one small special effect gag or an entire production.

As an extension of your team, we have the shared goal of ensuring your project’s success.  We listen carefully to understand the scope of what you’re working on and help you develop a plan and a budget.  We won’t compromise on quality, take shortcuts, or over-promise.
